NHL 99 is an ice hockey game from EA Canada, published by EA Sports as the successor to NHL 98. It includes five game modes, eighteen international teams, Bill Clement commentary and coaching advice from Stanley Cup winner Marc Crawford, along with an updated 1998 roster that includes the expansion Nashville Predators.
This copy is the Swedish Original release, catalogued under serial SLES-01445 and dated 1 October 1998. It comes in a Full Jewel PAL case with one disc, and the languages listed are English, Finnish, French and Swedish. Ice hockey has a huge following in Sweden, so this was a natural market for the game, even though the pressing itself is shared with several other territories.
