Germany received an early-production pressing under a distinct serial. This German Original carries serial SLES-00512 and was released on 3 October 1997. It is a single-disc Full Jewel PAL release in German, with a Hologram on the case. Among the five PAL variants catalogued for NHL 98, the German pressing under SLES-00512 is the only variant carrying this earlier serial, making it a notable distinction for collectors.
