NFL Xtreme is an arcade style American football game developed and published by 989 Studios, intended to rival Midway’s NFL Blitz. It features licensed NFL teams and stadiums, five-on-five matches and a good deal of trash talk.
This is the UK Original release, with the serial SCES-01490, dated 10 October 1998. The language is English, and it is a single disk release in a Full Jewel PAL case. The EAN barcode is 0711719751120.
As the home market release for English speakers, this is the most obvious version for British collectors to seek out. The same serial was used across the other regional pressings, so the barcode is the detail that identifies this one as the UK copy. Its availabilty in the UK second hand market tends to be better than for the smaller territories, which makes it a good starting point for the title.
