NFL Xtreme is an arcade American football game from 989 Studios, who handled both development and publishing. It was created to compete with NFL Blitz and features 30 licensed teams, five-on-five action and hard-hitting, rule-bending play.

This variant covers the southern European release, sold in Spain, Greece and Portugal as an Original pressing on 10 October 1998. The serial is SCES-01490, the same as the other regional editions, and the EAN barcode of 0711719751625 is what identifies it. It comes as a single disc in a Full Jewel PAL case, and the game is English language only. Because one edition covers three separate countries, it is a handy example of how publishers grouped smaller markets together to keep pressing runs practical. Collectors chasing every regional version will need this one to compleet the set.
