NFL Xtreme is an arcade take on American football from 989 Studios, who both developed and published it for the PlayStation. It was aimed squarely at NFL Blitz, offering 30 licensed teams, five-on-five play and a very loose approach to the rules.
This is the French release, an Original pressing under serial SCES-01490, dated 10 October 1998. It is a single disc in a Full Jewel PAL case, and the game is English language only, even though it was sold in France. No EAN barcode has been recorded for this variant yet, so it is currently harder to separate from the other regional copies sharing the same serial, and confirmed barcode details from a copy in hand would be valuable. Collectors building a full set of the game’s PAL editions will want this one for completeness, as American football titles were always a niche proposition in France.
