NBA Jam Extreme is a basketball arcade game developed by Sculptured Software and published by Acclaim Entertainment. Built around the 1996-97 NBA season, it was the first Jam game from Acclaim and the first to move the series into 3D, with Marv Albert on commentary duties.
This is the UK Original release, dated 29 November 1996, and it is the standard retail edition of the game. It comes in a Full Jewel PAL case and has no hologram. The disc count is one, and the game is in English only. The EAN barcode is 3455192107056.
As the baseline pressing for the region, this copy is the one to compare against the Promo rental version that shares its serial and barcode. Collectors who want the straightforward shop-bought edition of an early Acclaim PlayStation sports title will find this is the version to look for, and its clean, plain packaging with no hologram makes it easy to identify on a shelf.
