Namco Museum Vol. 5

Namco Museum Vol. 5 is the concluding volume of Namco’s original PlayStation arcade anthology series, developed by Tose Software. The compilation collects Metro-Cross, Baraduke, Dragon Spirit, Pac-Mania, and Legend of the Valkyrie, rounding out Namco’s virtual museum experience on the PlayStation.

This combined Scandinavian and UK Original release carries serial SCES-00702 and was distributed across the UK, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark under a shared pressing. It comes in the Mini Jewel Black Bordered PAL case with a hologram on the case, and contains a single English-language disc. Released on 6 February 1998, it is one of four PAL variants. The grouping of Scandinavian territories with the UK under a single EAN barcode is an interesting distribution choice, and this pressing is less commonly encountered than the straight UK or continental variants. Collectors focused on Scandinavian or UK-specific variants will want to examine EAN barcodes carefully.
