Mortal Kombat 3

Mortal Kombat 3 is Midway’s 1995 arcade fighting game, the third mainline entry in the series, ported to the PlayStation and featuring a roster of fighters battling to repel Shao Kahn’s invasion of Earth. This original UK pressing, released on 15 November 1995, is the Cardboard case edition, one of three distinct case formats used for the same serial across the UK release.

The case carries no hologram and the release contains a single English-language disc. No loose paperwork or case stickers are documented for this variant, and no bundled demo was included.

The Cardboard case format was used for a small number of early PlayStation releases, and its appearance here alongside Full Jewel and Standard CD Jewel versions of the same title makes this one of the more packaging-diverse entries in the early PAL PS1 catalogue. The cardboard variant is generally the harder to find in good condition.
