Mega Man X3, originally a Super Nintendo platformer developed by Minakuchi Engineering and published by Capcom, received an enhanced PlayStation port featuring CD-quality music and FMV cutscenes. The game is the third entry in the Mega Man X series and the first to introduce Zero as a playable character. This Original release carries serial SLES-00503 and was released on 15 July 1997, covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. It is a single-disc Full Jewel PAL release in English, with no hologram on the case, published by Virgin Interactive in PAL territories. As the sole catalogued PAL variant, this five-country pressing is the definitive physical release for Mega Man X3 across the PAL region.
