Mega Man Legends Launch Release (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK)

Mega Man Legends is an action-adventure game developed by Capcom Production Studio 2 and published in Europe by Virgin Interactive. As the first entry in the Legends sub-series, it moved Mega Man into 3D, casting Mega Man Volnutt as a Digger exploring a flooded world.

This is the Original PAL release, with the serial SLES-01485, dated 4 December 1998. A single pressing served the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, with the game in English only. It is a single disk release in a Full Jewel PAL case bearing a Hologram A, and the EAN barcode is 5028587082085.

The documented loose paperwork is a Virgin Interactive 3266 folded registration card. As this is the only catalogued variant of the game, it is the one to look for, and a copy that still includes the card is the more complete example. Registration cards were rarely kept, so it is a nice detail to find.
