Magic: The Gathering: BattleMage is a real-time strategy game developed by Realtime Associates and published by Acclaim Entertainment, adapting the Magic: The Gathering card game universe into a PlayStation strategy experience. Players oppose the planeswalker Ravidel across the continent of Corondor in a head-to-head and campaign format.
This German-language Original release carries serial SLES-00788, a dedicated serial indicating genuine German localisation. It was distributed in Germany and comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a single German-language disc. Released on 10 May 1998, it is one of three PAL variants. The German pressing carries its own distinct serial separate from both the French and the presumed English-language variants. As a niche strategy adaptation of the Magic franchise, German copies are not commonly encountered outside German secondary market channels.
