Magic: The Gathering: BattleMage is a real-time strategy game developed by Realtime Associates and published by Acclaim Entertainment, based on the popular collectible card game franchise. Set on the continent of Corondor, the game places players in the role of a powerful force opposing the planeswalker Ravidel. It was released for PlayStation and PC in January 1997, with a planned Saturn port ultimately cancelled.
This French-language Original release carries serial SLES-00787, indicating a localised French version. It was distributed in France and comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a single French-language disc. Released on 10 May 1998, it is one of three PAL variants for this title. Magic: The Gathering BattleMage is primarily of interest to Magic franchise collectors and strategy game enthusiasts.
