Machine Hunter is a top-down shooter developed by Eurocom Entertainment Software, published by MGM Interactive and distributed in Europe by Eidos Interactive. The game’s central mechanic allows players to take over the bodies of downed robots, gradually accumulating firepower as they progress. It has been compared to the 1995 Eidos title Loaded, sharing a similar overhead perspective and lighting-heavy visual style.
This French-language Original release carries serial SLES-00830 and was distributed in France. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a single French-language disc. Released on 15 July 1997, it is one of five PAL variants for this title. The EAN barcode is currently unknown for this pressing. The French pressing is one of the harder variants to document and locate given the limited available information on the machine hunter PAL variant set.
