King's Field

King’s Field is a first-person action RPG developed by FromSoftware and published in PAL territories by ASCII Entertainment Software. Known in Japan as King’s Field II, it was the first entry in the series to receive an international release, offering a slow, atmospheric dungeon-crawling experience with fully 3D environments, challenging combat, and a non-linear world design that presaged FromSoftware’s later work. This Original release carries serial SCES-00510 and was released on 10 March 1997, covering the UK, France, and Germany. It is a single-disc Full Jewel PAL case release with language support across English, French, and German, with a Hologram on the case. As the sole catalogued PAL variant, this three-country pressing is the only physical release documented for King’s Field in the region.
