International Track & Field is a sports title developed by Konami Computer Entertainment and published by Konami, putting players through a series of classic athletics events in the spirit of arcade competition. This is the original launch release, carrying serial SLES-00333 and covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands as a broad PAL territory release. It is presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram on the case, and comes on a single disc in English only. Released on 15 June 1996, this is the earliest known PAL pressing of the game. With three PAL variants catalogued in total, the original edition is of particular interest to collectors seeking complete sets of Konami’s early PlayStation output.
