Independence Day: The Game is a combat flight simulator developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Fox Interactive, following the plot of the 1996 summer blockbuster through aerial combat missions against invading alien forces. This standalone Original release for France carries serial SLES-00607 and was released on 15 July 1997. Presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with a hologram on the case, the disc supports English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Swedish. One of seven PAL variants catalogued, this is one of two Original territory releases documented alongside the UK pressing, with the five Core Multipack variants forming the remainder of the set.
