Ian Livingstone’s Deathtrap Dungeon is an action game developed by Asylum Studios and published by Eidos Interactive, based on the Fighting Fantasy gamebook. Players must survive a deadly dungeon designed to test their combat and puzzle-solving skills at every turn.

This UK Original release carries serial SLES-00746 with its own dedicated EAN barcode. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a single disc supporting English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Released on 10 April 1998, it is one of four PAL variants. The UK pressing is distinguished by the presence of documented loose paperwork: an Eidos Interactive Holford Registration Card and a London Dungeon Offer Card, both of interest to completionist collectors. The case also carries a round matt gold sticker reading ‘A Challenge Beyond Tomb Raider 2’, a bold marketing claim that positions the game directly against Eidos’s own flagship franchise.
