Ian Livingstone’s Deathtrap Dungeon is an action game developed by Asylum Studios and published by Eidos Interactive, based on the Fighting Fantasy gamebook series. Players explore a dangerous dungeon filled with traps, combat, and challenges drawn from the spirit of Livingstone’s original work.

This Italian-market Original release carries serial SLES-00746 and was distributed in Italy with its own dedicated EAN barcode. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a single disc supporting English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Released on 10 April 1998, it is one of four PAL variants. As with the German and French pressings, Italy received a dedicated release rather than being grouped into a broader southern European pressing. Italian copies are among the harder of the four variants to find in northern European markets.
