Hugo is an action game developed and published by ITE Media, based on the Danish interactive television show in which players guide the troll Hugo through hazardous environments in a series of simple minigame scenarios. This German Original pressing carries serial SLES-01164 and was released on 10 October 1998. Presented in German on a single disc in a Full Jewel PAL case, the EAN barcode is 5703782290175. Eight PAL variants are catalogued in total. The German pressing is one of the best-documented of the Hugo PAL editions, with a confirmed EAN and country, in contrast to the four variants currently recorded without country assignment. Hugo was a strong seller in the German market, and the German PlayStation release reflects that commercial presence.
