This French Original release carries serial SLES-00462 and was released on 31 July 1998. It is a two-disc Full Jewel PAL release in French, with a Hologram B on the case. France received a dedicated serial separate from the UK and Netherlands, reflecting the fully localised French language content across this pressing. Among the 25 PAL variants documented, the French Original represents the initial retail release for the French market, distinct in both serial and language from the UK counterpart.
