Hardcore 4x4 is an off-road racing game developed and published by Gremlin Interactive, featuring five driveable vehicles across six cross-country terrain courses with a championship mode and hard rock soundtrack.

This is the original release dated 13 December 1996, distributed across the UK, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, and Italy. It is presented in a Multiway Jewel One Disk case with no hologram on the case. The single-disc release supports English, French, and German. Documented loose paperwork includes a Gremlin Dark Blue Leaflet titled “Ahead of the game,” a promotional insert consistent with Gremlin’s marketing approach for this title. No case stickers or bundled demo discs are recorded. Two PAL variants are catalogued for Hardcore 4x4 in total. This original Multiway Jewel pressing is distinguished from the later Zoo Classics re-release by both its case format and the included Gremlin leaflet, and complete copies with the paperwork intact are the most desirable for collectors.
