Hard Boiled is an action game based on the acclaimed comic book series by Frank Miller and Geof Darrow, adapted for the PlayStation. The story follows a character who believes himself to be a tax collector, unaware that he is in fact a cyborg assassin whose memory is periodically wiped. This original PAL pressing was released on 15 October 1997 and covers the UK, Italy, and Spain.

Presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with Hologram A on the case, the release contains a single English-language disc. No loose paperwork or case stickers are documented for this variant, and no bundled demo was included.
