Grand Theft Auto Limited Edition

Grand Theft Auto is DMA Design’s controversial and influential top-down crime game, published by BMG Interactive. This Enhanced Edition is a UK-only release dated 31 December 1997, and is the most distinctive physical variant in the Grand Theft Auto PAL catalogue.

Presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with Hologram B on the case, the release contains a single disc with English, French, German, and Italian language support. A Rectangle White case sticker noting distribution on behalf of Take 2 is recorded. No loose paperwork or bundled inserts are documented. Research notes confirm this edition came bundled with a special version of the game disc and an additonal soundtrack CD, making it a notably different package from the standard retail pressings.

The inclusion of the soundtrack CD makes the Enhanced Edition the most sought-after Grand Theft Auto PAL variant, and complete examples with both discs and the sticker intact are considerably harder to find than the standard editions.
