Grand Theft Auto Limited Edition Enhanced Edition (UK)

Grand Theft Auto, developed by DMA Design, is the top-down open-world action game that began the series. This UK Enhanced Edition is credited to Take 2 Interactive as publisher and is one of the more interesting pressings for collectors.

Dated 31 December 1997, it comes in a Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram B and holds a single disk with English, French, German and Italian language options. The EAN barcode is 0768964286822. A white rectangular case sticker reading “Distributed on behalf of Take2” is present, which helps to identify this edition.

What sets it apart is the content. Research notes record that it comes with a special version of the disk and an additional soundtrack CD, so the package offers more than the standard release. Complete copies with the extra soundtrack CD and the sticker intact are the ones to look for, as bonus discs are easily separated from the case over time.
