Gex: Deep Cover Gecko is a 3D platformer developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Eidos Interactive. This third Gex adventure sees the wisecracking gecko enter the Media Dimension to save Agent Xtra from his old enemy Rez.
This is the Italian Original release, serial SLES-01299, dated 15 April 1999. It carries English, Italian and Spanish language options on a single disc, supplied in a Full Jewel PAL case. The EAN barcode is 5032921005951.
It is one of 11 PAL variants catalogued for the game and shares its serial with the UK and Spanish Originals, so the barcode and case details are the best way to identify it. For collectors, it is the Italian entry in the earliest group of releases, and worth securing for anyone building a country by country set.
