Final Fantasy VIII

Final Fantasy VIII is the 1999 Squaresoft RPG, the eighth main entry in the series. This is a later German Platinum reissue on the SLES-02082 master, dated 1 January 2005 in a Multiway Jewel Four Disk case with the PSP-era hologram on the case and a four-disc German-language set inside. The barcode 0711719194323 is shared with the earlier Hologram B Platinum pressing, with the case sticker the only physical distinction. As one of the latest legitimate factory pressings of the title in PAL territories, this PSP Hologram variant is a useful documentary marker of Sony’s continued reprinting of the most commercially significant PSX titles into the PSP and PS2 era. It pairs with the equivalent UK PSP Hologram pressing.
