Fighting Force

Fighting Force is a beat ’em up developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive. Players choose from four characters and fight through seven expansive levels against the forces of Dr. Dex Zeng, making use of fists, weapons, chairs, and anything else to hand. The game was announced in the wake of Tomb Raider’s success and carried significant pre-release expectation.

This is the sole catalogued PAL variant, an Original release carrying serial SLES-00731 and distributed across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain under a single pressing. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram B on the case, and contains a single disc supporting English, French, and German. Released on 15 November 1997, the broad single-territory coverage is consistent with Eidos’s European distribution approach for major releases of this period. As the only variant, this is a single-find title and complete copies are comfortably available on the UK secondary market.
