Fear Effect is the Kronos Digital Entertainment cinematic action adventure published in PAL territories by Eidos Interactive, presented across four discs in a distinctive Multiway case format and combining survival horror, stealth, and gunplay with a near future Hong Kong setting. This is the Netherlands market original release, dated 17th March 2000, on four discs inside a Multiway Jewel Four Disk case carrying Hologram B authentication on the case, with English, Italian, and Spanish language support and EAN 5032921009478 under serial SLES-02166. The release shipped with both an Eidos Interactive Knutsford Registration Card and a Fear Effect Games Bush TV Flyer as loose paperwork inside the case, the latter a notably unusual cross promotional insert. Dutch original copies are scarcer than UK equivalents and command corresponding collector premiums, particularly when the four disc Multiway case is intact and undamaged.
