Explosive Racing

Explosive Racing is a racing game developed by Toka and published by Softgold. Starting with two tracks and six vehicles, players unlock additional content by clearing game modes in specific ways. Both Practice and Championship modes are available, with a two-player option via PlayStation Link Cable.

This is the sole catalogued PAL variant, an Original release carrying serial SLES-00716 and distributed across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands under a single broad pressing. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram A on the case, and contains a single English-language disc. Released on 5 December 1997, the wide territory coverage under a single EAN barcode is characteristic of smaller publisher releases of the period. As the only variant, this is a one-find title for collectors, though Softgold’s limited publishing footprint means it is not abundantly common.
