Epidemic is a first-person shooter developed by Genki and published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, serving as a sequel to Kileak: The DNA Imperative. Set in the underground Neural City, players control Masao Coda in his fight against the oppressive Byflos Group using a powered Protect Armor suit. This is the only known PAL variant of the game, carrying serial SCES-00393 and released exclusively in the UK. It is presented in the Mini Jewel Black Bordered PAL case format with a Hologram A on the case, and comes on a single English-language disc. Released on 14 June 1996, this is the original launch edition. The Hologram A type on the case is a notable detail for collectors cataloguing early Sony PAL releases. No paperwork or case stickers are included.
