Earthworm Jim 2 Launch Release (UK)

Earthworm Jim 2 is a madcap run and gun platformer starring the super-suited worm, created by Shiny Entertainment and published in the UK by Virgin Interactive. The PlayStation version was handled by Screaming Pink, and it carries upgraded audio and the levels from the original Sega versions, along with its own background art and graphical differences.

This is the UK Original release, serial SLES-00343, dated 15 November 1996. It is the only PAL variant catalogued so far. The disc is English language only and comes as a single disc in a Full Jewel PAL case with No Hologram, which is typical for an earlier release of this period. The EAN barcode is 5028587080340.

With only one variant recorded, this copy stands as the definitive PAL version of the game and a handy reference point for collectors of Virgin Interactive’s PlayStation catalogue.
