Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22 is a 2D fighting game developed by Tose and published by Bandai, featuring 22 playable characters drawn from the Dragon Ball Z roster alongside five unlockable bonus fighters. This original French release arrived on 10 July 1996, and is the earliest known PAL edition of the title. It comes in a Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram B affixed to the case, and is a single-disk French-language release. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are included. Of note, this version is a non-black label release, with the Hologram B positioned at the top right of the case, which is a distinguishing feature compared to other PAL Dragon Ball Z editions.
