Descent

Descent is a first-person shooter developed by Parallax Software and published by Interplay, widely praised for its groundbreaking six-degrees-of-freedom movement and fully three-dimensional mine environments. This original PAL pressing, released on 14 May 1996, is the UK and Nordic market edition, covering the UK, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark.

Presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram on the case, the release contains a single English-language disc. No loose paperwork or case stickers are documented for this variant, and no bundled demo was included.

The inclusion of both the UK and Nordic territories in a single combined pressing is an interesting distribution choice, and this edition is the primary target for UK-based collectors alongside the continental European pressing, which together form the complete two-variant Descent PAL set.
