Darkstalkers 3 Launch Release (Spain)

Darkstalkers 3 is a 2D fighting game developed by Capcom and published across PAL territories by Virgin Interactive. As the second sequel in the Darkstalkers series, which started life in the arcades, it offers a roster of monstrous fighters in classic one on one combat.

This is the Spanish Original release, catalogued under serial SLES-01719 and dated 15 November 1998. It uses a Full Jewel PAL case with a single disc, and the game itself is presented in English only. The EAN barcode is 5028587082276, the same number used across the other Original pressings of this serial, so the country of sale is the main way to tell the copies apart.

No loose paperwork or case stickers are recorded for this variant. It is one of five PAL variants catalogued for the game, and it is a straightforward example for collectors who want a first pressing from the Spanish market.
