Darkstalkers 3 Launch Release (Germany)

Darkstalkers 3 is a 2D fighting game developed by Capcom and published in PAL territories by Virgin Interactive. It is the second sequel in the Darkstalkers series, which began in the arcades, and it pits a cast of mythological monsters against one another.

This copy is the German Original release, catalogued under serial SLES-01719 and dated 15 November 1998. It is housed in a Full Jewel PAL case and contains a single disc, with English as the only language. The EAN barcode is 5028587082276.

What sets this variant apart for collectors is the loose paperwork. It is documented with a Virgin White German Registration Card, which is the sort of insert that often goes missing and is worth looking for when assessing a complete copy.

Darkstalkers 3 has five PAL variants catalogued in total, and the German pressing is the one to look at if you are tracking the regional registration cards that Virgin included with its releases.
