Crypt Killer is a light gun shooter developed by Konami Computer Entertainment and published by Konami, based on the 1995 arcade game and compatible with Konami’s Hyper Blaster light gun peripheral for PlayStation. This original UK release arrived on 15 May 1997, and comes in a Full Jewel PAL case with a hologram on the case. The disc is a single-disk English-only release. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are included. This UK variant is distinguished by its multicolour front cover, contrasting with the black-themed cover found on the continental European edition of the same serial. Two PAL variants of Crypt Killer are catalogued in the database, and the differing cover art between editions makes this an interesting case study in regional packaging variation.
