Criticom

Criticom is a 3D fighting game developed by Kronos Digital Entertainment and published by Vic Tokai, originally released in November 1995 in the US before arriving in Europe in March 1996 and Japan later that year. The game features eight fighters from across the galaxy competing for a crystal artefact, and while its visuals and presentation were praised, its gameplay mechanics received widespread criticism at the time.

This is the sole catalogued PAL variant, carrying serial SLES-00196 and released on 15 March 1996. It is housed in a Full Jewel PAL case containing a single disc, with no hologram on the case. The release covers Sweden, Spain, Italy, Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands, with English as the sole language. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are included. With only one PAL variant catalogued, this original pressing is the entirety of the game’s known European physical release.
