Command & Conquer, the influential real-time strategy game developed by Westwood Studios and published in PAL territories by Virgin Interactive, received dedicated Platinum reissues for each major European territory. This German Platinum release carries serial SLES-00530 and is a two-disc Full Jewel PAL release in German, with a Hologram on the case. Among the eight PAL variants catalogued, Germany received its own dedicated Platinum serial under SLES-00530, separate from the UK and French country-specific Platinum editions also catalogued in this set. The move to Full Jewel PAL from the Multiway Jewel Two Disk original format is a clear distinguishing feature between first-edition and Platinum pressings for this title.
