The City of Lost Children

The City of Lost Children is an adventure game developed by UGC D.A. International and published by Psygnosis, based on the 1995 French film of the same name. The game adapts the surreal, gothic world of the film into an interactive format for the PlayStation.

This is an original release covering the UK, Italy, and the Netherlands, carrying serial SLES-00170 and released on 1 June 1997. It is housed in a distinctive Mini Jewel Black Bordered PAL case containing a single disc, with no hologram on the case. Languages supported include English, Italian, and Spanish. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are present. Four PAL variants of The City of Lost Children are catalogued in total, and the Mini Jewel Black Bordered PAL case format used here makes this release physically distinctive, as this was a less commonly used packaging type in the PAL PlayStation library, giving it added interest for format-focused collectors.
