Chocobo Racing is the 1999 Squaresoft kart racing spin-off from the Final Fantasy series, featuring cameo characters and reworked themes from across the wider franchise. This is the only catalogued PAL pressing of SLES-02079, issued as an Original on a single English-language disc and dated 15 December 1999. Country of distribution, case type, hologram and EAN barcode are all currently undocumented and require physical confirmation. As a Square Final Fantasy spin-off released directly into PAL territories without a country-specific variant strategy, this single pressing is the only PAL physical option for collectors and is a useful adjunct to a complete Final Fantasy series shelf despite its modest critical reception.
