Cheesy is a platform game developed by British studio CTA Developments and published by Ocean Software, following a small mouse named Cheesy as he escapes from a castle full of mutated creatures and mad science experiments. This original PAL pressing was released on 15 November 1996 and distributed across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Netherlands.
Presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram on the case, the release contains a single disc with English and French language support. No loose paperwork or case stickers are documented, and no bundled demo was included.
As the sole PAL variant of Cheesy, this wide European pressing is the only edition for collectors. The Ocean Software publishing connection and UK development origins give it a specific place in the mid-1990s British gaming landscape.
