Capcom Generations is a series of arcade compilation discs from Capcom collecting their early arcade hits, with the PAL release published by Virgin Interactive. Only the first four of the five Japanese volumes were released in Europe, making this serial part of a partial PAL distribution. This is the catalogued PAL pressing of SLES-02098, issued as an Original on a single English-language disc and dated 3 September 1999. Country of distribution, case type, hologram and EAN barcode are all currently undocumented and require physical confirmation. As an arcade compilation that is one of the entry points into Capcom’s pre-CPS retrospective programme, this volume holds particular interest for collectors of Capcom retrospectives and PAL arcade-conversion compilations.
