Bomberman Fantasy Race Launch Release (UK)

Bomberman Fantasy Race is a racing spin-off from the Bomberman series, developed by Graphic Research and published in Europe by Virgin Interactive. Players pick a character and ride a variety of animals around inventive fantasy tracks, with bombs adding the usual chaos. This SLES-01712 copy is the UK Original release, dated 15 July 2000, which makes it the first pressing and the natural baseline for the other variants of this game. It uses a Full Jewel PAL case and holds a single disc with English, French, German and Spanish language options. The barcode is recorded as 5028587082306. Because this is the Original release, later White Label and Value Series pressings should be compared against it when checking details such as artwork and barcodes. It is one of seven PAL variants catalogued, and the one most collectors will want first when building a complete set.
