Bomberman Fantasy Race Virgin White Label (France, Germany)

Bomberman Fantasy Race is a racing spin-off from the Bomberman series, developed by Graphic Research and published in Europe by Virgin Interactive. Riders mount a range of animals and race through fantasy courses, using jumps, bomb dashes and catapults to get ahead. This SLES-01712 copy is the White Label release, catalogued for France and Germany, and it is housed in a Full Jewel PAL case with a single disc. The game offers four languages, English, French, German and Spanish, which suits its multi-territory distribution. The barcode is recorded as 5028587085086. No release date has been recorded for this variant, so its place in the timeline relative to the earlier pressings is still to be pinned down. It is one of seven PAL variants catalogued for the game, and the White Label designation makes it a point of interest for collectors who like to track the later budget-minded reprints of Virgin titles.
