Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, developed by Silicon Knights and published by Crystal Dynamics, follows Kain through the fictional land of Nosgoth on a quest for revenge and ultimately a decision about his own vampiric nature. It is the first game in the Legacy of Kain series. This German Original carries serial SLES-00523 and was released on 14 November 1996. It is a single-disc Full Jewel PAL release in German, with no hologram on the case. Among the three PAL variants catalogued, France, Germany, and the UK each hold dedicated serials for their respective Original pressings. The German pressing carries German-exclusive language content, distinguishing it from both the UK and French editions in the set.
