Beast Wars: Transformers

Beast Wars: Transformers is a third-person shooter developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and published by Hasbro Interactive, following the events of the Beast Wars animated series. Players engage in fast-paced combat as Maximal or Predacon warriors, each capable of switching between beast, vehicle, and robot modes.

This French-market Original release carries serial SLES-00709 and was distributed in France with its own dedicated EAN barcode. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a single disc supporting English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Released on 1 March 1998, it is one of three PAL variants catalogued. France receiving a dedicated pressing separate from both the UK and Germany release and the southern European combined pressing reflects the significance of the French market in Hasbro’s European distribution strategy. Complete French copies are modestly harder to locate than the UK or Germany grouping.
