Assault Rigs is a vehicular combat game developed by The WheelHause and published by Psygnosis, set in a future where the Zam Cam Assault Rig is the vehicle of choice in a high-stakes virtual sport. Players navigate 42 arenas collecting gems and eliminating opponents, with PlayStation Link Cable support enabling head-to-head play across two consoles.

This original PAL release, dated 1 February 1996, covers a wide sweep of European territories: the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands, all under a single pressing. It comes in a Multiway Jewel One Disk case with no hologram on the case, and is English-language only on the disc. Research notes indicate that the manual included in the package varies by region, with some copies pairing English and French and German, others pairing English with Scandinavian languages, and others with Southern European languages, while English appears to be consistently included across all configurations. No case stickers or bundled demo discs have been documented. As the only PAL variant catalogued for this title, this pressing serves the entirety of the game’s known PAL physical release.
