Apocalypse is a third-person shooter developed by Neversoft Entertainment and published by Activision, featuring actor Bruce Willis in the role of Trey Kincaid, providing both likeness and voice. It was Neversoft’s first original game, created before the studio launched the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater franchise.
This French-language Original release carries serial SLES-00834 and was distributed in France. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram A on the case, and contains a single French-language disc. Released on 13 October 1998, it is one of four PAL variants. The French pressing is one of the harder variants to locate in northern European collections. Apocalypse’s use of Bruce Willis as the lead character makes it one of the more memorabel celebrity-endorsed PlayStation titles, giving it cross-genre collector appeal alongside its Neversoft historical significance.
