This variant is the Value Series Black Label edition, released on 26 January 2001, distributed across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Netherlands.

Presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with a hologram on the case and a hash suffix serial, this release contains a single English-language disc. No loose paperwork or case stickers are documented for this variant, and no bundled demo was included. Research notes clarify that the Value Series Black Label edition is visually distinguished from the related Reprint by the presence of a yellow Value Band on the red front cover and a matching yellow value band on the manual front.
