Air Combat

Air Combat, developed and published by Namco, is a combat flight simulator and the first title in what would become the long-running Ace Combat franchise. Players take the role of a mercenary pilot completing missions to earn cash for aircraft and upgrades. This reprint release carries serial SCES-00007# and was distributed across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Netherlands in a Full Jewel PAL case with English language content on a single disc. Notably, the front cover features a red design with no yellow Value band, and the red manual front similarly lacks the yellow value band, distinguishing it visually from other printings. With four PAL variants catalogued in total, this reprint is a useful variant for collectors tracking the full run of this early Namco release.
