Actua Pool Launch Release (UK)

Actua Pool is a pocket billiards simulation developed by Mirage Interactive and published by Gremlin Interactive, with Acclaim Entertainment credited alongside. As part of the Actua Sports series it was well regarded for its physics engine, and it appeared as Pool Shark in some markets.

This is the UK Original release, serial SLES-01647, dated 30 November 1999. It uses a Full Jewel PAL case with a single disc, and English is the only language. The EAN barcode is 5013658088219, which distinguishes it from the continental pressings and from the later Zoo Classics reissue.

One of six PAL variants catalogued for the game, it is the home-market copy and the original baseline for the title in Britain. For collectors it is the natural starting point, as Gremlin was a British company and this is the pressing most closely tied to the game’s origins.
